Updated 7 October 2026. This policy explains how Around the World: Grand Tour handles information when you play the Android game.
Game data
The game does not require an account or ask for an email address or personal profile. You may enter an arcade name for a local high score. Progress such as unlocked countries, Tour Miles, settings, vehicle choices and records is stored locally on your device. Removing the app or clearing its storage may remove that local progress.
Advertising data
The Android build contains the Google Mobile Ads SDK so an interstitial advertisement may be shown before leaving a petrol station. Google may automatically collect and share:
- your device's IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- app interactions such as launches, taps and ad views;
- diagnostic information such as performance, crash or energy-use data; and
- device or account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID and app set ID where available.
Google uses this information for advertising, analytics, security and fraud prevention. Information sent by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. The public Android release uses Google AdMob advertising; ads require an internet connection.
Google advertising publisher ID: pub-0134420180323879. The authorised seller record is published at /app-ads.txt.
Your choices
You can reset or delete your Android advertising ID and manage ad personalisation in your device's Google settings. You can remove locally stored game progress through Android's app-storage settings or by uninstalling the game.
Third parties and children
The game does not sell personal information. Advertising data is handled by Google under its own policies. See Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information for advertising.
Around the World: Grand Tour contains no mature material and is designed to be suitable for a general audience. It is not specifically directed to children under 13. Parents and guardians should supervise younger players' use of online advertising and external links.
